Hey, I’m Andrej Stojkoski – Just a Guy Who Loves Solving Problems, Being in Nature, and Building Cool Stuff in Marketing

Welcome! I’m Andrej Stojkoski—and I’m glad you found your way here. I’m not a fan of stiff introductions, so let’s keep it real: I’m just a chill guy who loves nature, cracking jokes, solving Rubik’s cubes, and discovering all the strange little ways life teaches us to be better. Oh, and yes—I do digital marketing for a living, but more on that later.

I grew up in a small village called Vevcani in Macedonia, a place surrounded by mountains, legends, and a whole lot of character. Today, I live in the lakeside town of Ohrid, still in Macedonia, but with a lot more life experience under my belt—and probably fewer donuts (more on that, too).

From Fat Kid to Disciplined Thinker: My Journey So Far

Let’s get personal. One of the biggest things that shaped me early on was being overweight as a kid. It didn’t just affect how I looked—it shaped how I thought. It taught me about discipline, about digging deep, and about earning every bit of progress, both physically and mentally. The gym became my therapist. Nature became my escape. And self-improvement? Well, that became my lifestyle.

But the biggest lesson? Everyone’s hiding something. We’re all walking around with flaws, fears, and insecurities. Once I stopped being overly conscious about what others thought, I started embracing my own path—and that’s when everything changed.

Who I Am Beyond the Job Title

For me, work isn’t something I separate from the rest of life—it is life. Not in the “grind 24/7” kind of way, but because I genuinely enjoy it. Whether it’s building strategies, learning new tools, or cracking into analytics, it all feels like play to me. The lines between work and fun blur when you find joy in what you do.

That said, when I’m not sitting at a laptop, I’m still feeding the same drive—just in different ways. I spend a lot of time training, walking through nature, or getting lost in thought. Solitude is where my best ideas come from. It’s where I challenge myself, reset, and find clarity.

My friends would tell you I’m that chill guy who’s always laughing, cracking jokes, and making complex things feel simple. I love solving problems, whether it’s running a campaign or figuring out how to carry all the groceries in one go. It’s all the same to me—just puzzles waiting to be solved.

What Drives Me (Spoiler: It’s Not Just Coffee)

A lot of things inspire me, but a big one is this sense of honor—to myself, my last name, and the people I care about. There’s something powerful about wanting to be someone others can depend on, not just professionally, but in life. Add to that a deep competitive streak, a hunger to be better, and the thrill of being different—and that’s pretty much what keeps me moving forward.

How I Found My Way Into Digital Marketing

I’d love to say I had a master plan to become a digital marketing specialist. But honestly? It was a bit of a bet. Growing up, I understood the power of communication and the role marketing played in shaping what we see, hear, and buy. But stepping into it professionally? That was a leap.

What I didn’t realize then was how versatile, dynamic, and deeply creative marketing actually is. It’s not just ads and algorithms. It’s psychology, storytelling, testing ideas, and sometimes failing gloriously. But when you get it right—when your message lands—it’s one of the best feelings in the world.

Why I Love What I Do

Marketing has no ceiling. There’s no such thing as “you’ve learned it all.” That constant evolution keeps me hooked. And in today’s world, where technology is changing the game every five minutes, you have to be creative and analytical. It’s a brain workout, and I love that.

One of my favorite things about digital marketing? There are no bad ideas. Only ideas that work—and ideas that don’t. That space for experimentation and growth is something I’ve come to love deeply. It’s helped me think differently, not just at work, but in everyday life too.

Marketing and Life: It All Blends Together

Here’s the truth: once you get into marketing, there’s no going back. Suddenly you start seeing marketing everywhere—from the way your friend pitches a night out to how a stranger tells a story. It shifts your whole perspective.

It’s also helped me align my passions. I enjoy studying human behavior, testing what works, and crafting messages that resonate. That naturally bleeds into how I approach relationships, communication, and even decision-making.

Values That Guide Me

I live by a few core principles. Discipline is at the top of that list—it’s what builds character and consistency. Then there’s honor—doing right by yourself and the people you love. And finally: having fun. Life’s too short to be serious all the time.

While I don’t have a single quote I live by, I do love Stoic philosophy. The idea of focusing only on what you can control while letting go of everything else—that’s powerful. It reminds me to center myself, especially when things get chaotic.

What Success Means to Me

To me, success isn’t about money or titles. It’s about creating a life that feels good to live. It’s about waking up excited, doing meaningful work, having strong relationships, and laughing along the way. That’s the kind of “rich” I’m chasing.

Right Now: Growth Mode

At this moment, I’m in a season of building. I’m sharpening my skills—both soft and hard—because I know every bit of growth now creates leverage later. Whether it’s communication, design, analytics, or strategy, I want to be fluent in every aspect of the game.

I’m also refining my thinking. My beliefs are evolving, shaped by experience, philosophy, and a drive to understand things deeply. That inner clarity? It’s a game-changer.

What’s Next? Everything.

The future? It looks bright. I’m excited about what’s coming—projects, collaborations, challenges—all the unknowns that push you to level up. There’s a lot of work ahead, and that’s exactly what makes it interesting.

Every day is a chance to improve, learn something new, or connect with someone unexpected. I see every opportunity as a stepping stone, not just in my career, but in how I grow as a person.
